Lyles asked me to put these pics on for the Little TEA-20 we picked up the other day.
Excuse the white 'stuff', it falls from the sky on a regular basis.
Theres a few identification plates i got pic's of.
Hope these will help you guys identify the tractor, and help Lyle out with some information. |

By the number it is an English built 1953 tractor. Ferguson merged with Massey Harris in 1953 and the combined company was called Massey-Harris-Ferguson until 1958.
It has been my experience that the governor will destruct if not replaced beforehand. It tears up the timing chain and the front engine casting. At 60 years of age, it is due. |

Ya know Dave... if you want to be a real estate salesman in Canada... you got to take the pictures in summer....
I never saw one of those tags under the hood, a Canadian only item fer sure, I think you or Lyle aught to add this one or another just like it to your collections... I should know... I have 12....or 13? just like it .... |

The "Massey - Harris - Ferguson" tag was added before being sold in Canada. It did not leave the factory with that tag. |

Which govenor, the one with the ball bearings or the weights, mine (35 standard) has the weights. |

TEA's have governors with lead weights loosely held onto a plate . I agree they are prone to wear and will break . |
