How long should you switch the glow plugs on before starting the engine? I noticed there is a small hole in the dash that has a wire coil in it that will glow red when I have the glow plugs on. Please let us know. |

I think on my 560 Farmall I used to have, I would hold the button in for about twenty to thirty seconds. |

The time required will vary a great deal dependent on the air temperature. Above freezing usually 10-20 seconds, if it is down around 0 45-60 seconds.

Thanks. I didn't want to hold them on to long and hurt the glow plugs or bubble the end of them. |
