Wisconsin V4 Stuck valve

I just got a Wisconsin V4 not sure what model it is as its hard to find the engine tag , looks like a later model as it has belt driven altenator and alloy heads.It also has a stuck exhaust valve been trying to free it up with chemicals,Kroil, etc. I do know it may be best to pull head and remove valve,clean but concerned about the head bolts breaking.
Is there a tool that reaches in thru plug hole to push down the exhaust valve without removing head?
Also is there a location where the engine tag is found? Thanks. Jack

Wick or dump out the Koil and fill with ATF. ATF has been proven to work far better then most any thing else. As I said fill it and if the exhaust goes down cover it so it can not leak out the exhaust pipe and let it sit a few days. Can not say on that engine but many engines I have played with you can take a bent screw driver etc and push the valve down.

Make sure that when you're letting it soak the crank is positioned so the valve train isn't holding up the valve. Did and old Rambler twice, 1st time I took the head off (Flat head 195 straight 6), second time worked it with WD-40 and various tools through the sparkplug hole. Everyone here has their own secret formula for freeing stuck engines most have ATF in the mixture.

Some times you can reach the valve with the short end of an allen wrench. Before you try the head bolts give each one a solid rap with a stout punch and a good size hammer. Vibration breaks the rust crystals.

You most likely have a VH4, could be another. I just freed up a stuck valve, or maybe a sticky valve, in a V4 Wisconsin.

I had the engine off the machine. What I did was tip the engine so what ever you poured in through the spark plug hole would run into the exhaust port. I let it soak for awhile , then cranked the engine over until it had compression. Worst case is remove the intake, exhaust manifold. Then remove the valve cover and see if you can at least move it a little. If you can move it a little filling the port with oil and cranking the engine with all the spark plugs out might do the trick.

Once you get it freed up, ALWAYS use Valve Ease as a fuel additive. Those Wis V4s are notorious for stuck valves.
