|
|
Thunderstorms started about 4:30 this morning. Rain/wind all day. Got 2.5 inches of much needed rain.
Started snowing about 4:00 and its coming down hard. Got 3 inches on the patio furniture now. Tree limbs have already started breaking. Took several pics. Will have James post when he wakes up from his nap.
Power has gone off and come back on 3 times in the last 20 min. Power lines down here don"t like heavy, wet snow.
Current temp is 31, with the forecast calling for 25 tonight and 22 tomorrow night.
Got a good fire going in the fire place, lots of left overs, we are snuggled in till this stuff melts off.
Hope all of you had a wonderful Christmas. |

Up here if we "snuggle in till it melts off" we get mighty tired of each other.
Could be 3 or 4 months.

Usually don't care for snow anymore, but this winter don't care. Need water anyway we can get it. Lots of dry ponds. Was hopping for a warm wet winter. If have any extra send it north. |

Well I thought I should share some of the snow with you. LOL
How often do you get much snow??? I have a high school friend that lives around Austin and she says they rarely get any there.
Like IA Gary posted waiting until it is gone up here might mean spring.
I am glad you got the 2 1/2 inches of rain. That is a blessing by its self.
Hope you and James had/have a happy holiday. |

Congratulations. On the moisture anyhow. Sorry for the snow damage. You're getting more winter than here in central NY!
Are all the tractors under cover? |

Nice day here, about 33 for a high, partly cloudy, no rain or snowfall.
Actually sounds colder down there than it is here in central Michigan!
I hope you weathered well and had a merry Christmas. |
