It is the rubber weight retainer in the injection pump falling apart and plugging the fuel return. |

As previously stated fiber ring in inj pump is coming apart. You can remove fitting on inj pump that return line attaches to and clean out obstruction to get some "run time". Be aware at some time in the future that engine speed could become "uncontrollable". Also as stated an inj pump overhaul is in the future of the pump. |

The injection pump needs to be rebuilt due to the weight retainer ring coming apart as others have said. It sounds like yours is plugged in the return fittings on top of the injectors. Remove and clean the return line will make it drivable for a while. Also check the return fitting on the pump.
Schedule a pump rebuild soon. |

If you regained power by loosening the line on top of #6 injector, then you have a plugged fuel return line. The return line has to have unobstructed flow back to the top of the fuel tank. You will need to remove the blockage in that line and have the injection pump rebuilt. |
