Anyone having issues with the starter drive gear splitting? Flywheel new and motor rebuilt. Are they just makin junk? |

What a cowincidence, I took a starter back to the rebuilder today, six starts on the tractor and the drive was stuck tight. Rebuilder was saying that he could not get good parts until a month or so ago he was able to get american made. |

Yes , I put one in the summer this year, new one didn't last more than a dozen starts, teeth flew right off, now inside bellhousing. I would have sent it back however I bought different places and don't remember which one came from where.
