Today, it"s still fairly near the shortest daylight hours here in the north hemisphere.
What are you local sunrise, sunset times and hours of sunlight?
8:01AM sunrise, 4:55PM sunset for 8hrs, 54minutes sunlight. East coast of Lake Huron.

I think it's something like 8:10am and 5:08pm without looking for sure here in mid Michigan.

8:05, 5:27 today for 9 hours 22 minutes in central Indiana. It gets down to 9 hours 20 minutes on 12/20 or 12/21. 15 hours June 21st.

I'm not a betting person but I think I have you all beat. Sunrise is 10:10 & Sunset is 3:52 We are in our Vacation home in Faro Yukon Canada. We are north of the 62nd Parallel. A couple nites ago we saw nothern lites that went from one horizon to the other horizon. WOW Gerald

'bout the same in Downeast Maine: 0708 and 1600 (4pm)

Could be a lot worse. I spent 14 miserable months above the Arctic Circle in Iceland. 1122 and 1536 today.
