Any kind of treat is usually not too good. Labs get overweight very easily . We watch their weight carefully here, no treats.

Yep, my dogs love them too. Be very careful though. A little of that goes a long ways. Too much of that, and vet problems. Rawhide has a tendency to swell when it gets wet, worse than spaghetti. Tastes good at the time, and there always seems to be plenty of room for more until afterwards. You and me can stop. Dogs don't stop as fast.

Take care, and a much happier new year to you and yours.

Mark

My old Lab gets lots of treats. She is spoiled rotten, but she is still "My favorite blond." Not a working dog, just a great companion. Dale

Itty Bitty Bones and Nylabones for Toby and Cinnamon. We've had problems with rawhide products.

I don't care how great a dog it is, you shouldn't be having it drive down to the store for you. . .

As others said. Lose that rawhide. Most comes from un treated hides from Argentina. Maybe a little doggie bone am and pm. They don't need to chew all day. Dude, it's leather, barely digestible.

My Lab got all the rawhide bones he wanted when he was young. Kept him out of my shoe closet, I recon. Same deal, he'd eat 18" a day. Never caused any problems.
