This is the first use of the 400 after the overhaul was complete.
The day I brought the 77 combine home. Just before planting time. Don't know why I didn't get any pics of planting, will this year tho.
Chopped some hay, used the 400 on the blower. Worked great, blew it right up the 60' silo.
Some of the crops this summer.
Combined some oats with the 400 and 77.
Baled some hay. Sorry no cases here, maybe next year.
Guess there was a case wagon.
Chopped some corn, used the 400 on the blower again.
Even got the little woman to help a little.
Got the 426 mounted.
And picked some corn, sort of. lol
Bought the 1160, still not home tho.
And lets not forget the "Nutty don't got none" gloves and chapstick. lol
Also a few pics from the road. Hope you don't mind.
Watched them load $22,000,000 in silver bullion into this truck from one from Mexico in Laredo Tx.
Finally a few short videos from my new dash cam of some crazy drivers.

Great pics Jon, looks like your crops done better than here in
Mo. Sometimes I miss some of the sights from the road, and
some I don't. Drove for a few different outfits the best was
running flatbed for SMX out of Ia before the Western
Express buyout went down hill after they took over. Like the
group of equipment especially the 400 with the picker. Safe
travels to you on the road. Scott |

They don't have any idea how far it takes to stop 80,000 pounds. I did a year with a reefer motor about 10' behind my head. Co. had several railer trailers and got to haul some swinging lambs into Hunt's Point and L.A. Then hauled a little sheetrock around Texas and the southeast with one piece tarps.

Those photos bring back memories. My way of avoiding those dummies getting on at ramps was to move into left lane when traveling on interstate through towns at a fast speed . This allowed me only as truck driver to scan ahead an 90+. degrees to rightI would not need to- dodge -brake rapidly an cause those behind me to make quick lane changes when some one would do ramp entry. |
