I have a 1962 IH B275 tractor. The pto shaft is able to move forward through the driven gear enough that the oil leaks by the rear pto seal. Is there suppose to be a stop in the front shaft to prevent the shaft from moving?
Thanks

Hi Roddy,
There should be "C" clips on both sides of the rear PTO bearing that keeps the PTO shaft from moving in/out of rear of tractor. Looked in caseih.com parts and "C" clip p/n is item 10 708541R1 RETAINER CIRCLIP, P.T.O. shaft rear bearing.
