|
|
Well I'm stuck, hoping someone will give a quick
answer. I took off the PTO shift lever on a 73 3000.
The shift fork appears to be off center, which tells
me it only goes back on one way. It rotated while
removing the lever/cover, and I did not see how it
was on. So, my question: which way does the shift
fork get rotated, below centerline or above
centerline?? |

Thanks for the drawing Ultradog, looking closely you can see that the curved part of the fork faces down. See my recent post on PTO lever repair for how the job went, some hard lessons were learned. |
