Tractor first starts up cold the steering works fine. After turning a few times the tractor steers fine the left, but once the tires straighten out it turns very slowly to the right. Sometimes after using the tractor under load the steering works fine.

If your stand-by pressure is not getting weak the steer vale must need re-sealed and re-calibrated.

How hard is it to reseal and recalibrate? Do I need to remove the power steering?

Yes it needs to come out and be disassembled, cleaned and re-sealed and re-calibrated with a special tool and a dial indicator, should be done by some one with experience for good results..if your reasonably close to central Ohio you can ship it to me and I can re-do it and bench test it for you..
