Why the cuved rotor instead of straight rotor on WD with the Delco dist.?

You talking the end piece of brass or the whole rotor?? I have seen them with the end piece being that way but never the rotor it self as for why I do not know but I have used them and the more common ones and both seem to work just fine

Thanks Old. Yes,I was referring to the end brass piece. I too have used the straight version but had to go back to the curved one as the straight would not let it fire.

I think I was told once that was "anti- kickback" ?!?! Maybe someone was guessing? I don't know.

If you have had problems with the straight ones you may have it just enough out of time to cause that and that also may cause you other problems if you are in fact out of time, ya not you the tractor engine LOL
