Are there any differences between early and late 3020 engines?
Thanks

Thanks jim. Guess we will have to wait till the tractor arrives to see what block it is, all we know is its got engine problems. We have a 3020 engine spare, not sure what year it is off though.

Also: late (72)s/n 280001^, 3020 block Marked-R47520, used a frost plug, so block heater could be used, still most economical way to heat at -0 & down; & late engines used 12 volt sys. w/ alt.

Some run different injection pumps, i think the little one can be converted the the "Normal" roosa master rotary pump without changing blocks.

The little injection pumps were randomly installed as they were put together, you could not specify which one you were getting,,it was just the luck of the draw..and yes they can be switched out to the larger pump easy enough..
