|

The neighbor has an International 254 and is unable to raise or lower his brush hog. well in looking at the lever that is supposed to raise and lower the hydraulics there is no linkage attached to it, the lever just goes back and forth but doesn't move anything. he showed me 3 broken tie wraps that came from the area and that he thinks was a substitute for the linkage but we can't make heads or tails of where it would go. If someone could please post a picture of what I am missing and of what connects to what that would be great. Thanks for the help! |

Go to caseih.com. Select country. Top center select parts. From parts page go to second group of info and find
SEARCH FOR GENUINE CASE IH ORIGINAL PARTS
just under that pick the red words "Search for parts" in the first sentence.
Use our parts catalog to search for parts by model number or by model name.
Put 254 in the model box.
Choose 254 diesel tractor.
Choose hydraulics.
scroll down to 10-18, and 10-19
There are substantial diagrams of linkage. Jim |

Thanks for the info, that website should help us out as far as the diagram of the hydraulics and as a source for parts. |
