I was just reminded of the time we had a great snow storm here in Colorado. On the High Desert Plains East of Colorado Springs, we don't get much precip of any kind. All the snow drops on the Rockies. But we did have that one huge snow. My poor neighbor had a drift across the front of his garage. He would shovel for a while, then go inside. While I was using my M with its front loader to clear a drift of my own, I noticed he had not really made much headway on his drift. So, while he was inside, warming up, I rolled the ol' M over to his place, and cleared the drift in about 5 passes. My M is quiet enough that he did not even notice, until he came out for the next round of shoveling, while I was driving away. He waived, actually thinking I had done him a favor. What he didn't know is that I love any excuse to play with my toys. |
