i bought a tractor and thought it was a ford 4100 1nd looks like one it is a 3 cylinder diesel with the 8/2 transmission.the serial number has got me thinking its not.here are the numbers can anyone figure out what model and year this is model#KA2 14P then 6F29B then serial# A306899 most serial numbers i have seen start with C not A |

i don't have my manual in front of me to decode your model id.. however.. the sn prefix digit is easy.
C is the us model..
A is antwerp, belgium
B is basildon , england |

KA214P is the model number
KA2 = 4100
1 = Diesel, vertical exhaust
4 = 540 Independent PTO
P ? should be the transmission code but I don't have a P listed and the 8/2 is listed as code C
6F29B is the production code
6 = 1976
F = June
29 = 29th day
B =day shift
