M5 Fenders/ color scheme

Hi guys , just wondering if all m5 models have clam fenders and 2 tone paint ?

They all had two tone paint yellow or "gold" and brown belly. And pretty sure all had the clam fenders not 100% on that though, correct if I'm wrong please

I think the answer is no. To both questions. Theses questions came up on here several years ago.

Apparently, some of the last M5s were built with the same fenders that came on 602s. At least that was what was decided last time.

I think you can find some all yellow M5s too. Painted like a 5star.

question below. Mine had never been re-painted, but the decals were almost non-existant. Can't say it is absolutely perfect, but should be pretty close. It's a 1961.

ALL M5's and M602's had the same fender design. Some of the late 5 Stars had this fender as well.

All agricultural production M5's had two tone paint. 1960 through around late 1962 had the bronze belly and Prairie Gold #3 for sheet metal and wheels. Every 1963 model I've seen(and I've not seen that many) had the newer Dyna Brown on the belly and the Industrial Yellow(at least that's what I've always called the later color) on the metal and wheels. These later models also had black decals and hood stripes instead of red.

I just looked at my 4Star, 3- M5s and 2 M602s. They all have the same fenders. I would call them semi-clamshells as the metal reaches about halfway over the tires, and have four support ribs. The M602s both have lights mounted on top the fenders facing forwards. I call clamshells like on my UB with no metal over the tires. The M670 has flattop fenders with the lights mounted in the front and rear of the fenders.
