I finally found the plate "Model 45, Serial 4621." There was a small silver tag screw to the machine also that had "636242" stamped into it, what is that number? Also I was looking at the precision Classic 45 combine and noticed that it has a long chain on the right side(sitting on machine" that runs to the back to a big pulley and sprocket. I noticed that my real machine does not have that and never has. Any idea why?

Maybe the toymaker added that for 'effect'.If the model is a different 'version'(roundback;hilow;squareback) than yours then that could be the difference.JD changed a few things over the course of the production of that machine.

That chain and sprocket setup is the straw chopper drive. If your combine doesn't have a chopper you would not have the drive. Mike
