Just type in. john deere 435 after you get to you tube, and you will see my 435 and B and D's 435 pulling and also one of his in the shed, by his boys. I like them because they are different. Smile Vic

The old truckers said that Detroit engines are like some girls---they make alot of noise in town, but get them out in the country and they won't PUTOUT!!!!

Depends if the owner cheaps out with a round TSC muffler or installs the real JD oval muffler.

You are trying to tell us that #2 15ppm ultra low sulphur diesel smells different from a Cat than from a 2-53?

Where did he say a Cat engine was involved? I thought that there were more than 2 diesel engine suppliers for tractors in 1950? A properly tuned engine running on diesel won't have a distinguishing odor, but the sound sure is. Hell, you are aware of that one.
