we have a 1954 VAC-14 narrow front. i have always heard there were only about 700 made like this. is that true? also ours has remote hdralics. i have never seen any other VAC with remote hydralics on it. in our operators manual it shows them on the the VA/VAC/VAS but i havent seen any in real life except on our tractor. anyone else have a VAC with hydralics?

There's no real way to tell how many narrow fronts were made without going through all the build cards. The remote valves are hard to find. I have 2, one on my VAC-14 and one on a 1950 VAC.

If you have a nice original I would not repaint it.They are only original once.
Do you have a Case hydraulic loader?
The remote hydraulics are not very common on a VAC.My VAC-14 single front has remote hydraulics.
Here's are a few of my original VAC-14's.The first is a VAC-14 with single front and the VAC pedal tractor I got when I was a kid.

Here's a pic of the remote hydraulics with the couplers/dust plugs

Here's my original VAC-14 adj wf and F-2 Case combine. It had the original seat cover with it.

I have a late model VAC 14 with wide front and extra hydraulics. I've attached a picture of the equipment my tractor has on the hydraulic area. I've circled the part you might be wondering about. I've pointed to one of the remote outlets, too.

I've since restored this tractor, but I haven't painted her and plan not to paint her. I like her original clothes. She's much cleaner now, however.
