A few days back somebody posted a message about how to set the brake latch without bending over and getting you finger down under the latch lever. As we get older the body gets a lattle stiffer and it's harder to set the breaks. Here are a couple pictures of the device that I have come up with. The red plastic chain sure works good and I don't have to worry about it scratching the paint.

This one was on my SC when I bought it. A simple brake latch that works well. push the brakes with your foot and catch the latch with your heal. Takes once or twice to get the hang of it but I love it.
