NO, you cannot start it by towing. You can ONLY tow it short distance's safely if you put the range transmission in neutral. Not the speed ratio lever, the high, low lever. When range transmission is in neutral, no movement of the hydrostatic motor will occur when towing. If that is in gear, just moving it a few feet might rip the slippers right off the pistons on the hydrostatic motor. |

Nor can you tow start one with a torque amplifier.
They are pretty easy to bleed, there's a hand pump on the back of the injection pump. |
