Hi,
I think the answer will depend on which engine is fitted to your 165. I'm guessing that you will have the AD4.203 engine fitted in which case you will probably have problems fitting the front axle casting to carry the 4WD axle. If you have the A4.212 engine I think it will be easier.
As far as I am aware the spacer which carries the drive assembly should bolt straight in. You will of course have to modify brakerods, footplates, and possibly the fenders.

Hi,
That might be an option but perhaps ask yourself first if you really need a 4WD tractor. Would new tyres and perhaps weights work?
Take care buying a 4WD. If its done a lot of work you could be buying a lot of expense.

Another thing to consider is weather or not 4 wheel drive will give you the confidence to get really stuck. It can be a learning process or not! |

2wd = get stuck to axles and need a short tow
4wd = get stuck above the axles and need a long tow. |

Thanks everybody, I simply want a all wheel drive because it turns better in snow, push a lot more, front end heavier, etc. when pushing snow down a slope, 2wd tends to spin tires going reverse but 4wd dont, I have really good tires with brand new or so ice chains, I remember when working on a farm what charm it was driving the 4wd |
