We have a New Idea 484 round baler. It"s not a bad baler but did need a lot of work when we first got it. The bearings with a hex I.D. for the rolls have been the most trouble. Just as the bale is about done, something back there starts to squeek. It continues until the bale is released. Anyone have any ideas on what causeing it? We would hate to have this thing go up in smoke. Thanks |

Our bottom belts slip on our 484 when the bale gets full. I tightened them up and no difference. Its been like that for years. Maybe that"s what your hearing. Our baler has been trouble free otherwise. We stack our bales and tarp them and our bales keep there shape well. Nice simple baler. |
