i have a 530 case with an indepentant pto....it is engaging and free spinning without problems but stops whenever a load is put on it...would anything other than pto clutch discs worn cause this....oil
level is good

Does the lever to engage the PTO require 50-65 lbs of pressure to engage. The lever should literally "snap" over center.

If its like my 630, he may not be pullin up hard enough to engage it. Got to give it a pretty good pull.
