Well, anytime someone want's to pay more than you're asking, that's a red flag. Plus, for paypal he should just need your email.

Don't ever give anyone your paypal account number. Like Bill said, all they need is your e-mail address to send payment too. I take lots of payments from people with paypal and have never ever needed to have there paypal account number! I do not know of this person, but be careful as it sounds like a scam to me.

If you have a paypal account you can go to Request Money and click on that, then click on Create Invoice and enter the email address of the customer and fill out the slots in the invoice and click send. Then he will have what he needs to pay you if he is legitimately buying parts, and you will not have any risk of his doing anything to your account other than sending his money to it. I send a lot of invoices on paypal and it only takes a minute to do one.

Agree 100%. It is quick and fast.

Also, for the folks who are BUYING, if the transaction is made using Pay Pal, and the seller never ships the parts, or the parts you recieve are NOT in the condition you expected, Pay Pal will back you up.

There is no such thing as a paypal account number. They use your email address and a password only you know to identify you.

Paypal has control of your money. They can refund it to the buyer if he complains and there's nothing you can do about it.

don't ever give your paypal account # or password or email address for your paypal acct to anyone. They don't need it to make a transaction. If they want to send you a bill or unpaid invoice thru paypal they will need your email address but that is the only time they need it and nothing else associated with your paypal acct. STOP ALL COMMUNICATIONS WITH THIS PERSON....!!!!!!
