Look at the left of this page under research and info then serial numbers then ford then 9N/2N and see where you number fits in. The number if you have it from the right place should start with 9N then have the numbers. Both the 9N and 2N the numbers start with 9N.

Serial number 9N28279 makes your tractor a 1940 Ford 9N.
