last week snowblowing driveway had a major oil leak after 300" OIL WAS POURING out around the canister?? lost a lot of oil in a very short time. thought it blew the gasket..had 15-40w in it. THIS week bought new filter and NH dealer said to use 10-30W oil.. installed new filter& oil today ,SAME PROBLEM!! can the canister be bent?? any one else had this? go to adapter plate & spin on filter?? what is the answer. also this tractor has a loader, which makes it hard to remove the filter. I had that happen. The gasket has to be perfectly in place. I ended up getting the spin on conversion kit |

I'll second that it is tricky to get them on right. Just look at it real close. |
