I am wondering how big of a bore anyone has done on a 264 block with out an offset.It looks to me that I can go to 4 1/2.I dont mind if I have to fill the block. |

Maybe. Id consider 4.4 bore with custom sleeves made. I did a 4.5 block, used w9 sleeves. didnt like the thickness of said sleeve, but would be fine at 4.4 n have alot thicker sleeve n maybe no hardblock. |

What does a large bore with a thinner cylinder wall that flexes with heat, thrust and pressure gain. As it lets combustion pressure leak past? |

I am running a 4.325 bore and a 7in. stroke . Has held up with no problems. |
