Wanting to know what something is worth is impossible to answer. There is no Blue Book for old tractors or machinery, such as there is for the aumotive industry.
Its worth is what two agree on. It might be worth more to you than anyone else, What people agree to buy an item for depends on how much they want a lawn ornimate. |

800 SPECIALS are not a very collectable tractor so they are not worth all that much.Would need to see a pic but if it runs and is in good shape I'd guess around $300.A lot depends on location. |

When i go to look at a lawn tractor, i ask the owner what he wants for it, what is wrong with it, does it work with few problems. I"ll try it out in his driveway and yard, and check the general condition of it. If it is shabby, i won"t make a big offer for it. And, the sounds it makes when running, and all, is something else to be wary of. So, i make a ridiculous offer, and if they like it, i buy it. If not--bye-bye. Plenty more out there. |
