If I did this right here are a couple tractor pictures from our small collection.M5 and Case model A 4/16 plow at Mackinaw plow days. The UB Special headed to its first pull after we got it running decent. Double proud day since it won its class against some real nice tractors.

Thanks,I am retiring this year from my constuction job, redoing my shed and plowing
with the special is on "the bucket list". Bad weather here this fall messed with my sons day off and our chance to plow with M5 & Gvi together.
Gvi,M5,& Special are mechanically restored also.

My Gvi on this plow is impressive. The M5 kept up with most of the tractors that day. The ground was disced deep and went 30 days with no rain. I was short on traction as where many.

How good is a M5? When I was 15 or so a good friend of Dads had a M5. Couldn't keep the engine together. Think he bought it used, may not have been his fault.

Our M5 Diesel was a good tractor. The black muck we had to plow in fall was the only abuse it had to endure.Dad believed in pristene maitance, waxing, and wiping off the hood and fenders before fueling. We added M&W pistons and advanced the timing on the pump which took it from 65 to 82 HP to pull our 4-14 plow.Dad added a 14.9 -38 plowing dual on a 12 in. rim plus made the drawbar 20 in tall. This increased our
ground speed 20%.It was equiped with 15.5-38's.
