friend of mine says you have to have constant down preasure on cylinder to hold drill in the ground.why cant you just drop it down and leave it? |

If you are talking about a haybuster notill drill. I have had one for many years, you do not need constant pressure as long as you have good seals in the cylinder and your tractor valve doesn't leak by. I actually have more trouble with it planting to deep. I put seed firmers on mine to keep the beans from bouncing around and out of the seed slot. I'd really like to find a set of Vee closing wheels for it. Jim |

yes Jim that's what I ment so he has a cylinder problem. it has been on two different tractors and does the same thing |
