If it is your wife's tractor, let her make the decision.

It is not my choice of color, but if it is her tractor and she wants it pink and white, you had better paint it what she wants, BECAUSE WHEN MAMA IS NOT HAPPY NO ONE IS HAPPY. Back in the 50ies if a customer wanted a tractor a certain color IH painted it that color.

Mike French in Craig, MO has a beautiful pink H that he painted for his wife. Contact him for the color he used and perhaps he can send a picture for your wife's approval.

Mike, if you are on here, can you post a picture to help a fellow husband out!

I think you are within your rights to refuse to waste your time and money to do that.
She of course can use your tools to paint it any color she wants, or pay someone to paint it for her. After all it is her tractor, why do you want to get involved?
Is this why I am not married?

It might be a contributing factor, but I would not limit the total rational to one specific attribute. :0) Jim

Do you have a comfortable couch? Paint it other than what she wants and get ready to sleep there for a while!! My father always told me, "what mama wants, mama gets" words to live by...

Best of luck, post some pictures when complete. ~Anthony
