I am working on a 72 4020 PS. It has 4760 org. hrs two owner. Had a few leaks here and there. Getting ready to paint with Urethane paint. Good rubber 18.4x38, Rollamatic, ROPS, Diff. Lock, single remote, org. top link, double stack front weights and 4 rear wheel weights. I rebuilt the brake valve, and put a oring kit in the hyd. pump. What will this thing be worth when I am finished? |

What ever you and prospective buyer agree on.The P.S. F&R weights,Rops, and 38in wheels, will add the rollamatic, single scv, and anything less than a excellent paint job will hurt .If the hours are right you will have a tractor that might bring double its original value.I dont see many and the 72s are popular it all gets down to condition, tires and original nice paint is where you see the higher numbers. The best repaint will not sell as well as original.I have stated before if you think you did not get enough and buyer thinks he gave a little too much thats the number. |

If it's a nice original painting will make it worth less. |

More involved than that, location , running cond, interest in a power shift, rubber size and cond, buyer needs, your estimated value and what you and buyer agree on. Henss many variables. |

IMHO nice original painted tractors are worth more $$$$$$ than an excellent paint job tractor. They are only original one time in the tractors life and could have been repainted several times. |

Just finished painting tonight. The org. Paint was not good. It sat out most of its life so it was a no brainier to repaint. |
