With the storm headed our way I figured I'd post this video from a few years ago. Moving 14" of snow at -20.
Enjoy

I would sure like to see some pictures of that rig in the daylight. Couldn't you use a couple more lights mounted up on the back frame?? I have one of them Farmhand loaders on a WD Allis and I would post some picture but that is the wrong color for this forum. Ours could have came with a John Deere tractor but my Dad was to cheep to put another tractor on the farm. Ours was bought to stack Bale hay back when accumilators& stackers came out and come with a 9 foot manure bucket and bale staker. Best feature was the addition of big round bale forks on the front and/or snow blade and moving the pump to the front-side of the engine and running it with a roller chain for live hydralic power. I thought those loaders with the round tank were pretty common but from what I read they are really old. Ours had various modifications but still like yours un-mistakenly unique compared to any modern loader. It never occured to me that a big snow bucket would work on them. How much weight do you have on the back?? cleddy |

I'll get some pics of it up soon as I can:) It get's plugged in if were gonna need it! The only downside is there's no down pressure on the bucket! You can actually still make out the writing on the back beam of the loader! It was sold just a short distance from where it is now! |
