Is the one garden tractor not the one that says 5 the other one I can't read the number, is that really a cockshutt, know cockshutt had a garden tractor and they were made by Jacobsen but I thought the cockshutts and the Oliver's looked alike, and the fords and the minneapolis molines looked alike, that looks like a ford or mm, know there all hard to find but that must be really rare if its a cockshutt.

Nice photos though, thanks for sharing

I sure like his design of the 5 and 10 with the double seats.

Here are some pics of the factory lawn tractors

There was never a lawn mower that came from the factory with cockshutt decals, the red town and country with White decals are the equivalent.

Here is the ones that I was talking about looking like that 10, the fords and mms had a differant body style than the Oliver's on the bigger models, the smallest ones there all the same.

Nice looking tractors.

Can I ask if that's what the original "cream" color was supposed to be (or something pretty close anyhow)? If so, could I get the code you used?

It looks pretty close to the color I used for my Massey Harris rear wheels.. I think the code I used come back as a 1972 AMC sunshine yellow (would have to look at the label again). I have about a half gallon left, and my next painting project will likely be my wide front Cockshutt 30.. Sure would be nice if it were the right color, or at least really close lol..

Thanks,

Brad
