Has anybody ever put cylinders and manifolds from a VG4 even fire onto a VF4 odd fire.
Looks like it might work but would like to know for sure.

I would think that parts from a VG4 would not interchange with a VF4. Your subject says VF4 VH4, so you may just have a typo. I could see VF4 and VH4 interchanging, but not certain.

You are correct. It is VH4 cyls to a VF4.
Anybody know anything?

The late VED/VFD crankcase is the same as VH4D. I think there are differences between the heads and manifolds, so if you changed all that stuff, it might work. You would have a VH4D with an odd-firing crankshaft.

Cylinder blocks have different part numbers in
the master parts book, for: VE4, VF4, VH4.
Further research is needed, but I don"t feel
well enough to do it right now!

The cylinders would have different #s because of the manifolding to block was different. VH4 has horseshoe exhaust manifold. But I was thinking someone might know if I changed VH4 cylinders and
manifolding onto a VF4 it might work. Sounds plausible but don't know. I have downloaded most of V4 parts lists. Thanks

I have a good VF4 block and crank. Cylinders not so good.
I also have VH4 with bad crank that cylinders might clean up with a hone. Working on a plan. Thanks.
