The 170 was made for the D17. I have an operators manual for one for sale if you'd want. $15 and I'll pay the shipping.

Ford and New Idea had models for AC tractors, especially WD. I think some had brackets for D series. Wide front tractors were tasking over by then, so hard to find. AC had a 'picker front' for the WD45, D17 wide front-....bolted under the WF steering casting to give you a dual wheel front end for pickers.

The 17 and 190 will work on a D17 too.

Where are you located? dad had several #17 pickers on his D17. Might be 1 left under the machine shed. I have the mounting brackets to put a 227 JD on a Wd45, but no picker. Don't know if they would fit on a D17.
