|
|
Some old pics of my first two tractors, wish I still had them, sold them when I was 15 to buy a truck to work on until I got my licence. That was 18 years ago. 1st pic is my Grandpa and I and my 49 SC, i think i was 10 or 11, paid $300 for it, and my 66 730. Spent lots of time cleaning and scraping and wire brushing and my Dad did the painting. Last pic was hauling wood, my Dad and I would usually go out on weekends and cut and split 2 loads. Sometimes the 730 would have a hard time getting those loads out of the bush and across the field in the afternoon when it started to thaw.

Very nice tractors. I imagine that 730 was a nice tractor to operate. I have never seen a 730 or 830 CK in person. I understand how it is I no longer have my first tractor either and I sure wish I had it back. Allis C. Thanks for posting the pics. |

I really wish I had the 730 back. No idea where it went, a dealer sold it for me, I think it went to the US. I always keep my eyes open for another 730CK preferably a diesel, as for the SC, I have found 2 a 49 wide front like the one I had when I was a kid, and a 53 wide front. |

Very nice sc it's cool that it had the wide front on it you don't see to many with it. My first tractor was a 44 sc I bought for $600 but I sold it to buy a 400 diesel this winter, kinda regret it but I can do more with the new one now! But very nice pics! |

Too bad the pictures weren't taken so one doesn't have to turn the computer upside down to look at them.
Couldn't you do better? So others could enjoy the pictures. |
