Trying to post link to you tube video of JD G pulling and breaking.
If link doesnt work is titled, CrackingaDeere.m2ts.
Anybody know this tractor or puller? What happened? I am guessing that a rod broke?

In order to get the 7.5" or bigger pistons in a g you must grind the sides of the main case paper thin .They fail once in a while .Paul |

Yes I know the guy that owns it. It has been fixed and is back pulling again. The failure was not due to case being ground out. If I remember correctly it broke the crank or broke a rod. Either way that was the cause of busting the case |

With the big bores and thin cases, don't you somehow strap the block and frame bake to the case so the bolts in the front of the case don't take all the load? |

back pullin strong at Tunica this past year, good tractor ! |
