I have a 1972 Cub w/belly mower. When I mow after about 45 minutes it starts to act like it is running out of gas, plenty of gas in it. The adjustment of the carburator are according to the manual, not running hot and I"ve cleaned the entire fuel system from the tank to taking the carb off and cleaning all interior parts. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks to all on this site. |

Swap out your coil. It might be breaking down after it gets hot. |

The moment it starts doing that check you spark. Also care fully touch the coil. If the coil is so hot that you can not hold your hand on it for say a minute then good chance you coil is going bad. As for gas pull the carb drain plug and let gas flow for a few minutes. Catch it so as to look for dirt/rust/water in it |
