In my sunday night winter boredom thought I should post. Pics of a 2470 I bought and did some doctoring too this past year. Pic is with the new owner. I really liked the tractor, it was a late one and very well cared for.

Eric,
That looks like a well kept tractor. I spent many hours in a desert tan 2470 with my dad in the fall moldboard plowing when I was a yonger fella. Love those old 4 wheel drive Case tractors. Thanks for the pic and bringing back some great memories.

Eric, very nice 24, can't find any like that around here. Seemed like we had less drivetrain problems on the tractors that ran the fat singles like that versus the dauled up units. Rod. |

Brings back many memories of plowing with 6-18 7000 case plow and SC9 chisel plow.Dad's was a 1975 model 2470. I tell everyone today that was how I ended up with strong arms, driving that old girl all those hours. |
