AFTER SHIFTING FROM FORWARD TO REVERSE TRACTOR ALWAYS ACTS LIKE ITS BOUND UP AND JUMPS WHEN I LET CLUTCH OUT. WE ADJUSTED BRAKES BUT THE ARE FREE. WAS WONDERING IF THE ADJUSTING WHEELS COULD BE THE PROBLEM. GOING TO REBUILD MOTOR AND PUT A 9 BUTTON CLUTCH IN AND HAVE FUN.

Hi
If you say the brakes are free do you know if they have oil contamination on the linings, that can cause problems too.or have you tried jacking it turning the wheel forwards and back and have somebody put the brakes on while it's turned, then take the brake off and turn the other way and see if it binds or what happens.
The other thing I wonder is, What are the gear selectors like on it. I kinda wonder if it maybe hanging a little on a gear if the selectors are worn/possibly slightly bent too, and it kinda locks it between two gears and letting the clutch out pops it free at the moment, then one day it don't and it goes bang crunch!
