|
|
Have a customer with a 616B case tractor that needs an owners manual. Evey piccy I can find on the net does not look like his 616B.
Attached is a photo that of a tractor that has the right body style like his.
Did CASE ever make a "600" series with this body style?? IF so...what model would it be called to get the correct owners manual?

Case made two different 600's. The earlier ones were big tractors, nothing like the one in the pic. The "B" series tractors were square-nosed. That being said, somebody might have put 300 roundnose sheetmetal on a 600B. |

The pic. you posted is a very nice 300 Round Nose/311
This is a pic of a 511B/611B tractor They both looked the same, but the 611B had COM trans,511b in pic had Triple Range tranny.
The 616 nominclature is unknown to me. As Tim said there were also prior B production600s They were 6cyl Standard big framed tractors.
Post pics., of the actual tractor so we can identify it.

Owner says its a 4 cylinder gas...which to me is a red flag. IIRC 600 series were 6 cylinders.
He had a poor piccy on his cell phone and it looked just like the 300/311 photo I "borrowed". NO front headlights, just a rounded front end with missing side curtains I'm told. The grille insert is missing and its been repainted, so who knows?? I'll try to get more info from him. My best guess is that is a 411. |
