I have an early model 4020, 1965. I get hydraulic oil running out the housing for the spare pto shaft when I remove it.

It opens into the case, you must be over full or on unlevel ground..

I'm sure there is an oring in the housing, just needs to be replaced. The same one as in the quill. chris

Yes it's the same o-ring, I thought he was worried about oil being present there...
|

F1870R is the oring part number you need, maybe your old one is cut or just plain old and hard. The parts book shows this.chris
