The serial number plate on my Massey-Harris MH50 is readable, but two of the four corners are broken off. Now, only two screws hold the plate. Is there a replacement plate available that I could transfer my serial number to or would the tractor be more valuable with the original, damaged plate?

I don't know of any new ones. It's better to use the original plate.

Dan Whalen makes very nice serial tags for M-H with your number stamped on them. Address: 2165 Berry Rd. Amelia, OH. 45102-9720

Steiner only has engine serial number tags. Not serial number on dash. What are you looking for? Never seen a company offer one for dash.

Thanks for the tip. I may try to contact this guy if I decide to replace my old, damaged plate.

Wayne Saak posted a message (above) about a guy who makes new tags. I kind of agree with you, though, that I would probably be better to stick with my original plate. It is damaged, but very readable. Thanks for your reply.

I'll check it out, but what I need is a MHF plate...not an MF plate.

Thanks for all of your replies. I will probably check out Wayne Saak's guy, but I am betting I will end up staying with my original tag to maintain the original character of the tractor.

Your opening post stated MF 50, sorry for the miscommunication.
