WHAT WAS THE FIRST YEAR PRODUCTION NUMBERS AND YEAR OF PRODUCTION FOR THE INDUSTRIAL B DO YOU THINK SERIAL IB33355 WOULD BE A 1939 / IT HAS A STRAIGHT FRONT AXLE. |

Go to Research & Info on the left side of this page, scroll down & click on serial numbers.
When the screen changes, click on Allis Chalmers, scroll down & click on IB.
Voila, quicker to look it up than to ask for us to do it for you.

The problem with the IB was that from the beginning, they were made on the "B" line and had the "B" serial numbers. If yours is 33,000 , thats about a 1939-40 model... After the war, maybe 1946, the IB had its own serial numbers starting with IB 1000 and about 2600 were made after that. I have heard about 1000 wee built between 1939 and 1945 with B serial numbers. |

From my source 260 were built prior to 1946 with the B serial numbers. |
