Josh, I have 6 3.75" 88 pistons, would have to put new sleeves in... 88 has ball park 2.25" compression height... And take the same wrist pin I think
If you really want to get wild I have some 4.125" out of a waukesha 320 that are like new!!! |

Thanks for offer but it's for a friends engine build and not going
in Oliver and needs To know the compression height on the 77
pistons if anyone knows |

2.3125 compression height. 1.25 wrist pin. you can punch the 77 sleeve to 3.75 n run 88 3.75 bore pistons. |

2.3125 is the comp hgt as ss409 said

The spec in my old Geuine Parts book shows the Oliver 77 with 3 9/16 flat top piston with a 2.285 comp height. & Super 77 with 3.750 bore flat head piston comp. height as 2.281. Genuine made the old TSC piston & sleeve sets. Earl |
