i just got a Supposibly m&w gov. the throttle shaft say M&W add power G-11, i popped open the cover and the numbers on the weights are, TG-5120. is this a true M&W gov.? thanks for the help.

If it is mw it has a bolt not a pin where it goes to carb linkage. At top

thanks for the info, the inside of it has 2 weights,? hmm. i wonder if someone put a M&W throttle tube on a stock gov.?

Sounds like you have a 2 weight governor sold by M&W once. Pretty much made like a thompson governor. Picture not to clear but maybe you can see how the weight pins are retained and that they probably look like yours.
